Meet The Venuses
Co-Founder, Lead Scout & Guide
V
I have been location independent for the last 10+ years but I spend 6 months each year in the Eastern Sierra Mountains of California where I run a regenerative intentional co-living space and am also a backpacking guide and community building! I also spend 3 months each year in Bali and 3 months in a new place.

I am a wild and feral creature. Born in the wilderness and raised primarily by my father, my relationship to nature is primal and profoundly interwoven into every aspect of my life, including my personality. I consider myself a devotee of Gaia, and my personal spirituality revolves around the elements of nature herself. After a successful career in the fashion modeling industry, I left in order to pursue creative endeavors more in alignment with my values and integrity. I have been location scouting and modeling since 2013, and organizing fine art wilderness tours since 2020.

My personal ethos is very rooted in both compassion and extremity. I embrace the full spectrum of life’s experience - including a very full range of emotions. And within that richness of opening, I am eternally seeking my center - the quiet place amidst the chaos. (Note: I am still seeking)

This juxtaposition between beauty and anguish, between pain and pleasure, between softness and ruggedness - often comes out in my work.

Vivian Cove
I am based out of San Jose, CA but continue to spend most of my free time in Santa Cruz, CA. In fact, I have been building part of my personal brand off of shooting along the coast.

While the name “Cove” was inspired by the expansiveness of the ocean’s edge, I’ve been tapping deeply into my inner lioness. She’s my fierce protector, lover of all that is earthy and rawness, with claws that dig deep into the flesh of her primal instincts. That said, I feel a connectedness to the earth with my nude form in a way that is forever evolving…

Goblin Goddess
Working nude in nature is like a mediation for me. All of the senses are activated and I always walk away with incredible memories and photos to take me back. Nature nudes are dear to me, because it’s me and nature. There’s nothing inbetween other than a photographer capturing my relationship with the elements.

Prana Machine
I am generally based out of Southern Colorado and the Front Range, but frequently live on the road in a little van.

I often bring myself to natural settings as a form of reverence and devotion. We are all natural earthly beings and most of us have a severed sense of belonging to the world due to our societal relationship to nature. I like the practice of going into natural settings as a sort of home-coming to bring us closer to the world that holds us as well as our own individual bodies. I think communing with nature can bring us back home to ourselves and to each other. I use this practice to cope with EDS and wouldn’t be able to function without it.
I exclusively shoot wilderness art nudes when I model because of what it offers me, as opposed to any other genres and settings. I prefer raw potent imagery over “prettiness” any day all day.

Kate Snig
Nature always meant everything to where I am based. During Venus tours I got to experience the beauty of California and now spend all my weekends exploring the crazy range of things this place got to offer. I think contrast is one of the most magical aspects of life.
Currently I only do art projects that I want to do, which has been a dream for a very long time. I guess the most successful image to me is when a true emotion of ‘now’ is expressed by me accurately and captured with the talent of a photographer who felt it too.

Minh-Ly
I am temporarily based in Antwerp, Belgium, but moving to Paris in January.
I roughly interpret my relationship to art nude and nature as this really awkward child-woman discovering and opening to the world, its people and its beauty.

I like "switching" between more woman, more innocent/savage like when interacting with my environment and accepting my unique place with the earth.
Lately, I have very much into group shoots and synchronizing with each other.

Eva Luna
I am currently based out of Portland, OR, but will be taking my show on the road for the foreseeable future, spending most of this winter in Latin America.

I have always been a naked person, and discovering the world of art nude modeling (particularly in nature) has been a beautiful way to blend my love of embodiment and ecology with my passion for art and aesthetics.
My native habitat is rainforest (tropical or temperate), but I love the stark beauty of the desert. I am inspired by magic, animism, comparative mythology, and the inherent interconnectedness of all things.

Clara Rene
I was born and raised on Reunion Island, and I left as soon as I turned 18 to pursue my dream of becoming a pro dancer, which I have been since 2012
I am now based in the south of France but Europe is my playground.

Expressing myself through my body is how I’ve actually learned to communicate as a introvert
Modeling took a huge step over dancing the past couples years and I couldn’t be happier, as I’ve discovered an other way to create art.
I think my island roots show up each time I set foot in nature, exploring, climbing, getting dirty, seeking the perfect view …

Nudity came to me as an evidence and the freedom I feel each time I get naked is unsurpassed.
I love showing my wild and nature side as much as I love embracing my femininity and sensuality. My work has always been a mix of all of that I discovered how much I loved creating with other passionate and inspiring women these past couple years that’s why I’m so looking forward to these adventures.

Svala (Icelandic Selkie)
I am mostly based out of Reykjavík but I frequently travel around Iceland. I have been focusing more on self-portraits lately and creating with like-minded artists.

Nature has always been my refuge and I have always felt a profound connection to her in all her softness and roughness, submitting to the elements and echoing her shapes. A part of my personal brand and the main focus of my work over the years has been the fast-melting glaciers in Iceland which are very dear to me and it is incomparable to face these giants in the nude and be reminded of how small one is and to feel the immense sense of belonging.

I also love including mythos and connecting to my wild woman and the dark feral creature that dwells within me, in my art.

Kayla Art Model
I started art nude modeling in the vast luscious landscapes of Western Australia and believe nudity in nature is the manifestation of freedom, honesty and rawness. For me, the connection between mind, body and environment can create amazing and evocative images.
During this journey my expressions have ranged from vulnerability and protection, rage, frustration and a transition to openness, bravery and many other symbolic gesture that nature inspires. My expressions root from my past, the female suppressed society I was born in, and my ability to rise up from it expressing my power as a proud woman.

Sirena Earth Model
My name Sirena.Earth.Model signifies both the beauty of the sirens that play with our human imagination but also the wake up call of sirens that alert us to take action when needed.

As an artist of the Earth and for the Earth, I want my art to be a reminder of the miracle that it is to exist in a human body in this incredible planet. In that, is to explore the range of our human experience, from sensuality and the pleasure body, but also the grief, the incredible shapes we take, and the celebration of the diversity that make this world what it is. My main interest lies in the exploration of my relationship with Earth and the creation of images that awaken the collective unconscious into the reintegration we so need with the natural world.

As an artist I want to both discover and create myself in the process. As a trained art therapist and eco art facilitator, creating is a therapeutic engagement, a way to remember who I am and where I come from.
